Holiday lets: showcasing your property,
from photos to listing

On a booking platform, your property is compared with dozens of others in a matter of minutes. Prestaprod helps owners, property managers and holiday-let management companies present their properties better: visuals that show each property's real strengths, a clear and consistent listing, and content designed to make guests want to book.

We don't just sell photos. We work on what the presentation of your property brings to the booking journey: getting noticed, being understood, being chosen.

A cover photo that doesn't show the main selling point, a room order that makes no sense, a generic description or details that differ from one platform to the next: these are often the small things that send a guest on to the next listing. Our approach ties together the visuals, the copy and the practical information so that your listing clearly says what makes the stay special, whether it's the view, ski-in/ski-out access, the spa, lake access or the peace and quiet of a mountain hamlet.

Our photography service is also available on Airbnb.

What good presentation brings

Three ways a well-presented listing shapes the booking journey

01 · In search results

Catch the eye

In a list of search results, the cover photo is often the only image anyone sees. It needs to show the property's main selling point and stand out from neighbouring listings, without misleading guests about what they will find.

02 · On the listing page

Make guests want to book

A photo order that follows a walk-through, rooms that are easy to read, the atmosphere and surroundings of the stay: guests can picture themselves there, understand the spaces and see the value of what they are booking.

03 · Across all your channels

Show the property at its best

Highlight what makes the property unique, with consistent content across booking platforms, your website, your social media and your Google Business Profile.

Method

A five-step approach, not a catalogue

Rather than piling up photos, drone shots, copywriting and SEO, we follow a method. Each step tackles an identifiable problem in your listing and ends with a concrete deliverable.

01
DiagnoseListing audit

We analyse your listing the way a guest first sees it: cover photo, order and quality of the images, title, description, amenities, practical information and consistency across platforms. Deliverable: a scored diagnostic grid, with priorities.

02
ShowcaseVisuals

An HDR photo shoot true to the proportions of each room, with no distortion, and depending on the property: drone photos for the surroundings, a 360° virtual tour for high-end properties. Deliverable: edited photos, with the recommended selection and order.

03
OptimiseListing copywriting

A title that describes a genuine difference, a description tailored to the guests you are targeting, amenities and surroundings presented without overpromising. Deliverable: copy ready to paste into your listings.

04
PublishMultichannel consistency

We advise you on adapting the content to each channel: booking platforms, your management company's website, social media, Google Business Profile, and on keeping it up to date through your channel manager. Deliverable: publishing recommendations and suitable formats.

05
MeasureReview

When you give us access to your statistics (views, enquiries, bookings), we compare before and after, for the same season, taking into account anything else that may have changed. Deliverable: a review sheet at 60 or 90 days.

In full transparency
Visuals are one lever among many. Price, seasonality, location, reviews, availability and the quality of the listing all influence your results too. That is why we promise neither an occupancy rate nor an income. Our role is to make sure the presentation of your property is never what holds a guest back, and to give you content whose impact you can measure.
Seasonal calendar

In the mountains and by the lakes, every season is prepared in advance

A listing showing a chalet under the August sun won't sell a ski holiday. For a property let all year round, the presentation has to change with the season, and photos for one season are often planned a year ahead.

September – October · Get ready for winter +

Audit before the season

Winter bookings are decided now: this is the time to review the cover photo, the title and the description.

Update your information

Amenities, access to the slopes, shuttles, ski room: accurate information that is identical across all your channels.

December – March · Photograph the winter +

Snow and seasonal light

Winter photos are taken in winter. They are mainly used to present the property for the following season.

The experience of the stay

The fireside corner, the spa, the view from the balcony, the start of the slopes: show the stay, not just the rooms.

April – May · Get ready for summer +

Change the cover photo

Lakes, hiking, terraces: the main photo and the title adapt to summer guests.

Target families

Sleeping arrangements, garden, safety, nearby activities: what families look for should be visible from the very first photos.

June – August · Photograph the summer +

Exteriors and drone

Pool, garden, views of the lake or the peaks: the ideal season for exteriors and aerial views.

A complete set

Together with the winter set, your listing has the right visuals for the whole year.

Starting point

The listing audit

Before producing anything, we look at your listing through a guest's eyes. You then know exactly what needs redoing, and what already works.

Frequently asked questions

Holiday lets: what to know before reworking your listing

Do professional photos really increase bookings?

▾

They help, but they are not the whole story. A study published in 2022 in the journal Management Science, covering 7,423 Airbnb listings over 16 months, measured an occupancy rate 8.98% higher for listings with verified professional photos. That result concerns occupancy, not revenue, and it guarantees nothing for any individual property: price, season, location, reviews and availability all play a part too. Our aim is to make sure the way your property is presented is never what holds a guest back.

What is the difference between a photo shoot and showcasing a holiday let?

▾

A photo shoot delivers images. Showcasing starts from your listing: we identify what makes it less clear or less appealing, produce the visuals that are missing, rewrite the title and description, then advise you on the photo order and on adapting the content to each of your channels.

When should a ski resort property be photographed?

▾

Winter photos are taken in winter, with snow and seasonal light, and are mainly used for the following season. For a property let all year round, we recommend two sets: one in winter and one in summer. September to October is the ideal time to audit your listing before winter bookings come in.

Do you write the listing title and description?

▾

Yes. We write the title, the description and the presentation of the amenities and surroundings, in French, based on what the property genuinely offers. We deliberately avoid clichés and promises the stay could not live up to.

Which areas do you cover?

▾

The whole of Haute-Savoie and Geneva: Lake Annecy, the Chablais and the shores of Lake Geneva, the Genevois, and the Mont-Blanc and Grand Massif resorts (Chamonix, Megève, Sallanches, Samoëns, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz). Listing audits can be carried out remotely, anywhere.
